Context
Paul is writing to Timothy, offering encouragement and reminding him of the spiritual gifts given by God to fulfill his ministry with confidence and without fear.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

How to read it
Being scared isn’t from God. Instead, God hooks us up with strength, love, and a clear mind. Imagine having superpowers to not freak out, and those superpowers are love and mental clarity, helping us make the right choices and spread good vibes wherever we go.
Let’s pray
Heavenly Father,
thank You for giving me a spirit of power and love. Help me to stay strong and fearless, facing everyday challenges with courage. Fill my heart with love for others so I can show Your kindness to everyone I meet. Grant me a sound mind to make wise and thoughtful decisions.
