Context
Romans 6 discusses how believers are freed from sin and become servants of righteousness through Jesus Christ.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

How to read it
When we mess up, like make bad choices or go against what God wants, it leads to a dead-end—literally, that’s what Paul is saying. But no worries, because God has this awesome gift waiting for us, which is living forever and ever. All we gotta do is roll with Jesus and accept what He’s offering.
Let’s pray
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the incredible gift of eternal life that You offer us through Your Son Jesus Christ.
Help us understand the reality of sin and its consequences so that we can live wisely.
We are grateful for Your love and grace that permits us to choose life over death.
Guide us daily in making decisions that honor You and embrace the gift You have given.
