Context
1 John 1 discusses the importance of living in the light of God and the truth of Jesus, contrasting it with living in darkness and sin.
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

How to read it

Heavenly Father,
thank You for calling us to walk in Your light and for the community You’ve given us. Help us to live in truth and openness, reflecting Your love in our daily lives. We are grateful for the cleansing and forgiveness provided by the sacrifice of Jesus. Teach us to cherish and nurture our fellowship with one another.
