Context

Psalm 32 is a penitential psalm attributed to David, reflecting on the joy of forgiveness and the blessings of divine instruction.

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

How to read it

Imagine you’re looking at a GPS on your phone, but it’s God providing the directions. He’s telling you that He’s got your back and will give you the best route for your life’s journey. God will not only show you the way but also keep an eye on you, like a good buddy who’s always got your six, ensuring you don’t miss the turn when life gets confusing.

Let’s pray

Heavenly Father,
thank You for Your promise of guidance and faithful instruction. I praise You for being my constant guide and for watching over me with love. Help me to listen to Your direction and trust in Your ways each day. I am grateful for Your presence in my life and the peace it brings.
