Context
Psalm 103 is a song of praise by David where he reflects on the Lord’s mercy, grace, and abundant love, encouraging readers to bless the Lord for all the benefits He provides.
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
––Psalm 103:3 KJV
How to read it
God is saying He’s got your back no matter what mess-ups you might have had or when you’re feeling really low physically or emotionally. It’s a promise that He’ll wipe out everything you’ve messed up, and even when you’re feeling sick or down, He’s there to help you through it. So whenever you’re feeling like things are too much or you just can’t anymore, remember that God’s all about giving second chances and making things right again.
Let’s pray
Heavenly Father,
thank you so much for your endless love and your grace that forgives and heals us. I praise you for your constant presence in our lives, for picking us up when we fall, and for healing the broken pieces. Help us to always remember and be grateful for all the good things you do for us every single day. May we never take your forgiveness and healing for granted, and help us to walk in your ways as you lead us to better ourselves through your wisdom. We ask this with thankful hearts.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
