For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring.
 ––Isaiah 44:3 KJV

How to read it

God’s got our back, even when life feels dry and empty. He’s promising to flood us with His Spirit and blessings, like when you’re dying of thirst and finally get that drink. Whoever puts their trust in God will get filled up with His love and goodness, even when the world feels like a dry desert. So, even when things seem tough, God’s blessing is gonna come pouring down like rain on us and our future kids.

Let’s pray

Heavenly Father,
we praise You as the source of all blessings and the fountain of living water. Thank You for promising to quench our spiritual thirst and pour out Your Spirit upon us and our families. We are grateful for the comfort and assurance that comes from knowing Your Spirit is with us and the generations to come. Please, Lord, help us to remain open to receiving Your guidance and nurturing presence in our daily lives.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
